The Educator In Action

MY PERSONAL TEACHER'S PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me to be a good teacher, not just training a mind but molding a heart.
Please give me more patience and love. Help me to remember that a child often needs love most when his conduct least deserves it.
And help me to remember that teaching is a noble and honorable profession and worth can never be measured in money nor value in things.
Finally, Lord, thank you for the opportunity to become a part of the tiny spark that begin's in a child's mind, that reaches his/her heart and goes to live forever in his/her hopes, dreams and tomorrows. You, who is the Teacher of all teachers...Please bless and guide me in fulfilling my mission as instrument of your salvation.

All this I ask of You Lord in Jesus name. Amen.
